It was a cold Friday morning as a couple business clad PRSSA members travelled up the Mon to the river city. Right in the center of downtown Pittsburgh, the public relations firm Word Write prepared to host PR students from WVU and Duquesne.

Hello, WVU PRSSA!

My name is Blaithe Tarley and I am the Strategic Communications Manager at the Greater Morgantown Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) as well as the new Professional Advisor for the WVU PRSSA chapter. As a Reed College of Media alumna and former WVU PRSSA member, I am elated to be able to give back to my peers and an organization that helped me grow in so many ways.

Part of being a member of PRSSA is paying your dues!   Dues go towards different events PRSSA hosts on campus, biweekly meetings, conferences, agency visits, and much more!  Part of the money you pay goes into our campus budget and the other part gets sent to nationals.  This short infographic shows how to become an official dues paying member!
