WVU PRSSA Presents Friendsgiving

A special event celebrating global food cultures!

SIGN UP DEADLINE: OCTOBER 31

Friendsgiving Student Org Sign-Up Form

Friendsgiving is not just another Thanksgiving gathering. It's a unique celebration where international student clubs have the chance to showcase their cultural heritage through the incredible medium of food. We're assembling a fantastic lineup of cultural clubs, each representing a different part of the world, to share their culinary traditions!

On November 13, prepare a dish representing your culture and bring samples for sharing. Set up a cultural display or booth to complement your food offering. Share interesting facts, traditions, or artifacts that represent your culture. Lastly, help us spread the word! Share this invitation with your club members, friends, and social media networks.

Event Details:
  • Date: November, 13
  • Time: 4 to 6 p.m.
  • Location: WVU Media Innovation Center, Evansdale Crossing

All proceeds from this event will go to the Children's Home Society of West Virginia.

Why Join Friendsgiving:
  • Showcase Your Culture: Friendsgiving is the perfect platform to highlight your club's cultural background and traditions, fostering greater understanding and appreciation among attendees.
  • Engage with the Community: Interact with fellow students, faculty, and community members who share a passion for global diversity.
  • Support a Good Cause: All proceeds from this event will go to a charity of our choice. By participating, you'll contribute to a great cause while sharing your cultural heritage.

Please let us know if your club is interested in participating by signing up using the Friendsgiving Student Org Sign-Up Form. The deadline for clubs to apply is October 31st!
